JDRF Launches Clinical Trials Connection

We are pleased to announce that we recently launched JDRF’s Clinical Trials Connection and it is now available to you at www.trials.jdrf.org.
As you may know, JDRF is funding more human clinical trials than ever before. Clinical Trials Connection is an online tool that provides information about and access to clinical trials – both JDRF-funded and others. The service’s goal is to help people with type 1 diabetes and their families better understand the clinical trial landscape, and give them the information they need to make a decision about taking an active role in the search for a cure.
Once you’ve registered on the site, you can enter the type of trial you are interested in, how long you’ve had diabetes, and how far you’d be willing to travel, and the site will let you know about studies that match those characteristics. With Clinical Trials Connection, you can compare one trial with another, and get updates on new trials that might match your interest. In addition, it will provide you contact information for each trial sponsor and investigator. All information provided through Clinical Trials Connection will be kept in the strictest confidence.
