The JDRF Capitol Chapter Outreach is here to assist ALL of those affected by type 1 diabetes. Whether it is you or someone you love that lives with type 1, it is important to know you are not alone. The Capitol Chapter staff and volunteers are a wonderful resource for you. We can help you find local and online support, as well as put you in touch with others that know all too well what you are going through.

Currently our Outreach program offers: delivery of the Bag of Hope to those newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, local support group information and mentoring for parents and individuals seeking support from the type 1 community. Fundraisers such as the Holiday Gift Wrap and our annual Walk to Cure Diabetes are also a great way to meet other local families and adults living with type 1.
